FAQs
Do I need a reservation?
Walk ins are always welcome, but we recommend booking ahead on weekends. If you have a particular table request, such as a table on the terrace, it is best to reserve in advance.
Do you deliver lunches to offices?
Yes. We deliver across Shenzhen. For orders of more than 50 meals, please confirm your order by 6 PM the day before.
Do you accept foreign cards?
Yes. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Apple Pay. Alipay and WeChat Pay also work with foreign cards.
Can I bring my own wine?
Yes. We have a wine list, but if you have a favourite bottle you would like to bring, we are happy to serve it for you. Corkage is RMB 100 per bottle.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes. Dogs are very welcome, especially on our large outdoor terrace. Small dogs are also welcome inside. If you have a larger dog and would like to sit inside, please call us first as it depends on how busy the restaurant is.
Do you have gluten free burger buns?
Not at the moment. We can serve your burger with the patty wrapped in lettuce instead. You are also welcome to bring your own gluten free bun and we will toast it for you.
Do you have vegetarian options?
Yes. We have vegetarian options and, as our dishes are cooked fresh to order, we can often adjust them to suit your requirements. Just let us know when ordering.
Are oysters available every day?
No. We receive fresh oysters on Thursdays and only order a limited quantity. If you are coming specifically for oysters, please call ahead and reserve them as they can sell out quickly.
What if I can’t find BAIA?
For the most accurate directions, use Amap or Apple Maps. If you still can’t find us, call or message us and we’ll help. If you are in a taxi, we can also speak to your driver in Chinese.
